Lessons 1 & 2: Complete Lessons 1 & 2 in the
book. Web Assignment: Signup
for free web space at www.tripod.com, and read some of the help files
for creating web pages. Search for 10 images online, that will be
used in creating next weeks Task. Reading: Read the help files
for Netscape Composer, the program within Netscape Navigator that
allows you to create web pages. Also Read Lesson 4 in the
book. Due: 9/10
Lesson 4: Complete Lesson 4 in the book, save it in your
VT folder in a folder called Lesson04,
in a file called Lesson4.psd.
Task04: Create an image with at
least six other image elements, using the selection techniques learned
in Lesson 4. Save it in your VT folder in a folder called Task04, in a file called Task04.psd. Web Assignment: Create a web
page at www.tripod.com, following the instructions on their web
site. Email me the web address of your new web site and
your contact info: Name, E-Mail, Phone #, and Home Address, to
tpierce1000@hotmail.com. Collect some images from the web to use in

Task03: Create an image with at

write a short review one of the photoshop web sites (one or two
paragraphs) and try one of the online Photoshop tutorials, and reivew
it as well (one or two paragraphs). Email me the links and your

Lesson 5: Complete Lesson 5 in the book, save it in your
VT folder in a folder called Lesson05,
in a file called Lesson05.psd.
Task05: Create an image with at
least ten image elements, using the Layer
Techniques learned
in Lesson 5. Include Layers using Layer Names, Opacity, A Layer
Mode, the Magic Eraser, Text Tool, Layer Styles, and a
Gradient. Save it in your VT folder in a folder called Task05, in a file called Task05.psd. Due 10/01
Lesson 6: Complete Lesson 6 in the book, save it in your
VT folder in a folder called Lesson06,
in a file called Lesson06.psd.
Task06: Create an image with a
theme, using the Channel Techniques, you
learned in Lesson 6, including
creating a selection with quickmask, saving Selections as
Channels, Modifying an Alpha Channel after you have saved it from
a selection, Modifying one of an images Color Channels, and
use the Extract filter on at least three image elements in your final
composition. Save it in a folder called Task06 in a file called Task06.psd. Web Assignment: If you
haven't already created a web page, try creating one with Netscape
Composer and uploading it to your Tripod Web Site, and email me the

Task 07: Create 4 images
that you have retouched with the new techniques you have learned
in Lesson 7, Clone Stamp Tool,
Pattern Stamp Tool, Healing Brush, Patch Tool, and the History
Brush. You may use two images from TEL140 class folder, in the Pictures/Oldpics, folder. The
other two images you should be picture of your own that you have
scanned or taken with a digital camera. When you first open the
images to retouch, duplicate the background layer and leave it
untouched, so we can compare the orginal image with the
retouched. Save these files in a folder called Task07, in files called Task07a.psd, Task07b.psd, Task07c.psd, and
Task07d.psd. Review For

as well as your completed poster, call it Task10.psd, both in a folder
called Task10, in your VT
